This course is addressed to students at an intermediate level who want to add to their base of listening and speaking skills in English as a second language with the goal of adequate functioning in a variety of settings and situations. In listening, students will learn strategies and practice activities that allow them to understand spoken English more easily and accurately. In speaking, they will participate in classroom activities such as conversations, interviews, simulations and oral presentations which will also lead to more ease and better accuracy. Students will learn appropriate grammar structures, vocabulary and pronunciation throughout the course.
